The Liverpool String Ensemble is the outstanding String Quartet for Liverpool and Merseyside. Truely one of Britain’s finest ensembles. We perform at weddings and events throughout Liverpool, Warrington, Birkenhead, The Wirral and Chester. We cover many prestigious venues across throughout Merseyside, Lancashire and Cheshire.
From Bach to The Beatles and Vivaldi to Justin Timberlake, we own over 3420 pieces of music giving us the largest music repertoire anywhere in Britain. Our reputation in performance excellence stretches from Liverpool to London and beyond. Being highly commended for our enthralling and engaging performances of modern chart hits and a huge variety of musical genres.
With a passion and energy for our music, the quartet is made up of four highly skilled, classically trained professional musicians with a wealth of experience at both home and abroad. Our members have played in various musical settings in such prestigious venues as St. George’s Hall, Liverpool Town Hall, Chester Grosvenor Hotel, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, The Liverpool Playhouse and The Royal Albert Hall. Our members also perform regularly with The English Symphony Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Welsh Sinfonia and The Halle Orchestra.
