Liverpool String Ensemble are Liverpool’s leading String Quartet based locally in Liverpool. We perform at weddings and events throughout Liverpool, Formby, Runcorn, Warrington, St Helens, Birkenhead, Chester, Merseyside, The Wirral, Lancashire and Cheshire. From Bach to The Beatles and Vivaldi to Justin Timberlake, we own over 3700 pieces of music. This gives us the largest music repertoire anywhere in Britain. Our reputation in performance excellence stretches from Liverpool to London and beyond. We are highly commended for our enthralling and engaging performances of modern chart hits, and a huge variety of musical genres.
The Liverpool String Ensemble has a passion and energy for music, providing a string quartet or trio for weddings and events. This is made up of three or four highly-skilled, classically-trained, professional musicians with a wealth of experience at both home and abroad.
Our members have played in various musical settings in such prestigious venues as St. George’s Hall, Liverpool Town Hall, Chester Grosvenor Hotel, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, The Liverpool Playhouse and The Royal Albert Hall. Our members also perform regularly with The English Symphony Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Welsh Sinfonia and The Halle Orchestra.
